The question everyone asks
So how does a crochet lantern glow?
No special yarn. No electronics. No sewing machine. Here's the whole trick.
1 · Crochet the panels flat
Open lattice squares — chain, double crochet, chain. Four of them, worked flat, no shaping.
2 · Join into a box
Slip-stitch the panels to a crocheted base and roof. Every join is photographed.
3 · Drop in an LED tea light
Light passes straight through the open stitches and the whole lantern glows.
Battery tea lights only. Never use a real flame inside a crocheted lantern.
What you actually open
Inside every pattern.
Written for someone who has never made an amigurumi before — and detailed enough that you never have to guess.
Exactly what to buy.
Yarn weight, hook size, eye size, how much stuffing. Named brands where it matters, alternatives where it doesn't.
Every stitch, photographed.
Magic ring, single crochet, increase, decrease, invisible finish. If you've held a hook once, you can make these.
See it at every stage.
Not one finished photo and good luck. Real progress shots so you can check your piece against the page as you go.
Written row by row.
Plain English, US terms, stitch counts at the end of every round. No charts to decode.
From people who've made them
What crocheters say.
“Just finished this little bunny and I’m honestly so happy with how she turned out! The pattern was easy to follow and the little hat and carrot are my favorite part. So cute in person.”
Claire M. · Verified buyer“Made this little witch bat for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. She claimed it the second I finished 😂 The wings were actually much easier than I expected too!”
Emily R. · Verified buyer“Finished my squirrel wreath this weekend and it’s already on the front door! I was a little nervous about the tail at first, but the instructions made it surprisingly easy. I love how it turned out.”

Questions.
I'm a beginner — can I really make these?
Yes. Every pattern uses the same handful of basic stitches, and the bundle includes a photographed stitch guide that teaches all of them from scratch. If you can make a magic ring and a single crochet, you can make anything in here.
Do the lanterns really light up?
Yes. The side panels are worked as open lattice, so light passes straight through the stitches. You drop in a battery LED tea light. Never use a real candle.
What do I get, exactly?
25 PDF patterns plus the beginner stitch guide, downloadable the moment you order — on phone, tablet or printed.
Are the patterns in US or UK terms?
US crochet terms, with a conversion note included.
How long does one take?
The small characters are an evening. The lanterns and wreaths are a weekend project — bigger, but no harder.
Can I sell what I make?
Yes. Sell your finished pieces at markets or online. You just can't resell or share the patterns themselves.
What if I get stuck?
